My Humble Apologies

Posted by Emily at Sunday, January 08, 2012
Sorry I haven't been posting, and am WAY behind on my reviews.
I'm currently juggling school, reviews, reading, my social life and caring for a ferocious hermit crab and being the babysitter of a just as ferocious younger brother(okay, just kidding, he wouldn't hurt a fly... well, he kills flies for me cause I hate bugs, so I mean, he wouldn't hurt anything but bugs) so I have to evenly divide my time, or try to, and reviews and reading just fell really behind, i'm sorry.
To make it up to you, i'll have reviews for ten books on here before the end of January!
I will not be posting a review for Canary's List after all- I have not finished it, and detest it, so I will not be able to read past page 20. My apologies, yet again.
The book i'm most excited about I WILL be reviewing, and will HOPEFULLY have the review up before the end of January?
Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake!
August 30, 2011
Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead.

So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now, armed with his father's mysterious and deadly athame, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. Together they follow legends and local lore, trying to keep up with the murderous dead—keeping pesky things like the future and friends at bay.

When they arrive in a new town in search of a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas doesn't expect anything outside of the ordinary: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage, a ghost like he's never faced before. She still wears the dress she wore on the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white, now stained red and dripping with blood. Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home.

But she, for whatever reason, spares Cas's life.

Looks good, right?

Mhm.

So, look for those reviews my lovies, and have a great day/afternoon/evening/bar mitzah
