Let me start of this post with a thank you.. to Amber at MeMyShelfAndI.com who (ohmigosh total fan moment here) actually tweeted about THIS BLOG. MY blog. And to the lovely people, especially Kimba, who checked out my blog thanks to her. :) THANK YOU ALL. If I could, I would gift you all cupcakes, but alas, I can't... but think about cupcakes, and it shall become so.
Now, where were we before I randomly blabbered on about cupcakes?
Ah yes, Teaser Tuesdays.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share
doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can
add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Now, this week's teaser is from Incarnate by Jodi Meadows, a great book so far with a GORGEOUS cover!
BUT, it isn't just another pretty cover- it's contents are just as good!(that sounded cheesy, didn't it? Oh well)
This isn't a spoiler, since it's only on page 17... at least, I think that cancels out any spoiler status! If you are super uptight about spoilers, then don't read it!
"You won't have me!" I spun and leaped off the cliff. Death would be fast and cold; I wouldn't feel a thing.
-P. 17, Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

You should have done a clue with Confucius. Let's do it again at McMann's. Pg. 19, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.
