Title: Me and Earl and The Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
I got this book: ARC from the publisher in exchange for a review
I rate this book: 5/5 stars
Publisher: Amulet Books, an imprint of Abrams publishing.
Summary: Seventeen-year-old Greg has managed to become part of every social group at his Pittsburgh high school without having any friends, but his life changes when his mother forces him to befriend Rachel, a girl he once knew in Hebrew school who has leukemia.
My Review: as soon as I heard about this book, I took one look about the author's website, saw the part about how the book is due out in March, and the apocalypse isn't due to happen until December, so you should have plenty of time to read it, and I was hooked.
This book was... wow.
The writing wasn't very good(it wasn't horrible writing, just not super professional) but since this is supposed to be written from the main character's point of view, it would subtract if it was written professionally.
But overall this book is... wow.
It doesn't make you, as it states many times in the book, half-cry at their non-existent mushy romance, bite your nails wondering what will happen to Rachel- it's not that kind of book.
It's a... a serious comedy, if that isn't too much of an oxy moron, a contradiction.
I highly recommend that you get this amazing book!

For some reason, the cover turns me off from this one. Not sure why.
